Apps

The Apps page lets you browse a catalog of available FileMaker applications and deploy one to your server with a single click. This is a quick way to get a ready-made solution running without having to build or configure a build and deployment yourself.

Browsing the Catalog

The Available Apps catalog shows every app available for deployment, along with a short description of what it does. You can use the search field to find an app by name or description.

Each app card shows whether it's already on your server:

• Installed — every file in the app is already present on your server.
• Partial — some, but not all, of the app's files are present on your server.

If an app has no badge, none of its files are currently installed.

Deploying an App

Click "Deploy" on an app's card to open the Deploy App dialog (the button reads "Redeploy" if the app is already fully installed). Some apps also include optional demo files you can include with a toggle if you'd like some sample data to start with.

Once you start the deployment, the dialog shows live progress as the app is deployed. When it finishes, you'll see a summary of the files that were deployed. If a deployment fails, you can jump directly from the dialog to that deployment's detail page for more information.
