Auto Updates
OttoDeploy checks for new versions automatically and prompts you to install them, using OttoFMS to handle file updates and data migrations when needed.
OttoDeploy has a built in auto updater that will check for updates to OttoDeploy. If an update is available, it will notify you and prompt you to install the update. The notification appears in the bottom left of the screen.
If it is only a UI update then the update will be very fast. If it requires a new FileMaker file then OttoDeploy will use OttoFMS to download the new file to the server and perform a data migration. This feature only works if you are running OttoDeploy on a server that has OttoFMS installed and running.
Requires Internet Access
OttoDeploy needs to check this domain appupdates.geistinteractive.net to see if there is an update available. If you do not have access to this domain, OttoDeploy will not be able to check for updates. You may need to add it to your firewall or network settings.
